Role: Development Manager /Senior Development Manager – Technology • Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience • Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • Location: Pune • Technical Knowhow: Advance JAVA, Advance JavaScript, Spring Boot, Angular 6+, SQL/MongoDB Roles & Responsibilities: • Development Manager /Senior Development Manager – Technology is expected to provide leadership in the development, implementation, and support of service-oriented architecture. • Development managers liaise between different departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership. • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products is a crucial responsibility of development manager and actively promote and enforce quality control measures throughout the development process. • Actively participate in the project planning phase, working closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, outline deliverables, and establish realistic timelines. • Effectively managing the development team, fostering a collaborative environment, and optimising team performance. • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their expertise and strengths. • Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. They work to minimise disruptions and ensure project progress remains on track. • Identify and analyse potential risks and obstacles that may impact project success and develop contingency plans to address and mitigate identified risks. • Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. • Work with team of Java, Angular & Spring boot Developers for the design, development, and maintenance of applications. • Lead web development team, including front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers, along with web QA professionals. • Cultivate a culture of growth and excellence within the web development team, mentoring and guiding team members for their professional development. • Ability to understand, write, and troubleshoot software code within complex programming applications. • Ability to critically think and solve problems and should have worked in java version 8 or greater and knowledge of microservices, Apache Velocity. • Analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions, strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions. • Should be open to change, embrace new technologies, and stay updated with industry trends. Skills & Experience: (list of desirable attitudes/ behaviours) • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • At least 5+ years of experience in leadership role, managing web development teams. • Proven track record in developing strategic roadmaps for web technology. • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and nurture a team, promoting an environment of collaboration and innovation. • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements or alternative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency. • Must possess exceptional leadership qualities to motivate and guide their teams towards success. • Must be able to convey complex ideas, provide clear instructions, and facilitate smooth collaboration.
