Position Overview:

The Process Excellence Lead - Operations will be responsible for driving process optimization initiatives, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Operations department. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in process management, a passion for driving efficiency, and excellent analytical skills.


Responsibilities:

Process Optimization:

  • Lead process improvement projects aimed at streamlining workflows, reducing cycle times, and eliminating waste.
  • Conduct process assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized processes and procedures.
  • Drive efficiency through product/process interventions/improvements

Quality Management:

  • Establish quality standards and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of operational processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance trends to identify deviations and areas for improvement.
  • Implement quality assurance mechanisms and corrective actions to address process deficiencies and ensure compliance with standards.

Continuous Improvement Culture:

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate team members on process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Encourage innovation and creativity in problem-solving and process redesign efforts.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze operational data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress on process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring of process performance.

Change Management:

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth implementation of process improvements and organizational changes.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in and support for process optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor change adoption and facilitate training and support mechanisms to facilitate successful implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Total Quality Management.
  • Proven track record of leading process optimization initiatives and driving measurable results.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, or similar tools.
