We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Business Analyst to join our team. The Oracle EDI BA will play a vital role in managing and maintaining the electronic exchange of information between our client and its business partners. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Oracle Order to Cash Process Flow coupled with EDI protocols, standards, and processes, as well as exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any issues that may arise. Job Description for Oracle EDI Business Analyst: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle and EDI Act as a liaison between business and customer, external trading partners and identify opportunities to leverage EDI technology and comply with trading partner requirements, Oracle Configurations and transactions. Understanding of overall business processes, with in depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes viz. Order Management, Shipping, and Invoicing flows Inbound and Outbound Transactions 850, 855, 856, 810 with EDIFACT and X-12 (xml/ Cxml) formats Collaboration with different stakeholders like Business, Service Providers, External Customer & Suppliers Experience with system integrations and resolving data discrepancies for Order to Cash transactions coupled with EDI Leads the effort, working with the business, to define and document what constitutes business. Success for medium to large size initiatives within a single organization. May either lead or work as part of a team to gather requirements. Elicits, analyzes, and documents non-functional business requirements. Leading requirements management activities, as necessary, ensuring that the impact of changes are well understood and approved by the appropriate stakeholders within the organization. Conducting solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization. Reviewing test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participates in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements within the organization. Conducts problem analysis as needed. Escalates complex issues for additional analysis and resolution as appropriate. Acts as a point of escalation for moderate to difficult problems. Develops positive relationships with both the business and other functions involved in downstream technical processes May coach and mentor less experienced business analysts and technical team Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues acting as expert level support. Handle EDI Projects, Change Requests for Enhancements, and break fix, provide Production Support, Business requirements and Gap Analysis, Trouble-shooting functional and EDI file/ map issues, Defining the scope Creating functional requirement document (MD 50) Production setups and documentation (BR 100) Sprint planning and Manage Daily Scrum activities with the technical team using Jira and Confluence Identify scope and create Jira backlog for continuous process improvement Owning the Change requests through the Change Management process, ensuring security and audit protocols. Performing Trading Partner setups, DUNS number/ Peppol id for Peppol format/ GLN, controlling electronic flags for invoicing and mailbox acceptance criteria Onboarding customers, Provide Support for Production issues, trouble-shooting issues and providing resolution on incidents, service requests and Change Requests. Identifying risks, reviewing data and connectivity integrity, Stress Testing, UAT, documentation and approvals through EDMS system, Verification and Validations as part of Sanity Testing post go-live Ensuring communication transmission and performance integrity Hands-on SQL and PL/SQL Working knowledge about Middleware and Oracle SOA suite, B2B integrations via AS2, SFTP channels. Qualification: Min qualification BE/ B.Tech or Masters in BCS/BCA.
