Specialist - Accounting - Job Description:


The offshore team to assist with the following actions:

  • transactions
  • of commissions/bonus for consultants
  • balance sheet accounts and provide explanations of changes to prior periods.
  • reconciliation
  • month end journal entries (accruals)
  • rebates for eligible clients.
  • monthly analysis for client executive Report
  • P&L and interact with field managers to answer questions related to their P&L.
  • to the validation of monthly results (GM, operational cost v/s prior month)
  • special analysis when needed for the director or managers
  • of month-end results, analysis and reporting for various entities & branches
  • of various reports according to established timelines
  • of Government remittances
  • to the review and monitoring of internal controls
  • Branch Manager and Vice-President of different line of business with their P&L’s queries. Act as the primary contact for accounting related inquiries from various branches.
  • new projects and testing
  • sales report and GM reports
  • non- financial data for reporting


Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):


  • degree in Accounting (preferably B.Com)
  • of 4-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Domain
  • proficient in use of Microsoft Excel (advanced or above advanced expertise)
  • knowledge of Randstad operations and systems is an asset


To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • written and verbal communication skills
  • skills in Microsoft Excel is mandatory
  • exposure in managing month end closing and reporting
  • of journal entries and booking accruals during month end/quarterly close
  • in account reconciliation and research on “Open Items”
  • experience of intercompany
  • with JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion, preferred
  • to work independently under high pressure during the month end and quarterly closing
  • be a team player with ability to maintain a positive attitude in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
  • is needed as the candidate might need to work for extra during month end close

Reporting to:

Team Lead or above (as per business needs)


Shift Timings :

Coverage is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST) which is 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (Day Light Savings are needed
