Job OverviewAbout The Job RoleJob Description: Treasury and Cash SpecialistWe are seeking an outstanding Treasury and Cash Specialist to join our US shared services accounting team in Hyderabad, India. You will be responsible for assisting treasury operations for Gainsight. This role reports to the Manager, Accounting in the US.This role will be on our accounting team which cares a great deal about each other and meeting the needs of Gainsight. We partner together, while holding each other accountable, do our part to keep the team on track toward our overarching objectives. In this role we are looking for someone who completes tasks when they say they will and on time and superb analytical skills. This role will partner across time zones. It will require agility in working norms, a strong desire to lean in and proactive communication.About the RoleJob location: Hyderabad, IndiaExperience: 3+ years QualificationsWhat We Are Looking ForMinimum 3+ years of treasury and cash accounting experience with a multinational company.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics. CPA a plus.Efficient in general accounting and bookkeeping.Knowledge of US GAAP and recent accounting trends.Experience with NetSuite and Bank of America CashPro a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and data entry.Quick learner who takes full responsibility on assigned tasks and sees them through to completion.Experience in handling large transaction volumes including preparation of bank reconciliations.Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work closely with other departments and with staff at all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.Promote teamwork and work well with others.Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines. ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do Here Record daily bank transactions in the ERP including customer payments, vendor payments, employee payments, and all other transactions.Apply credit memos to customer invoices.Investigate and collaborate with the accounting team on routine and non-routine bank transactions.Perform month-end close tasks to ensure accuracy of cash in the ERP.Monitor daily cash balances for US and foreign entities.Reconcile US and foreign bank accounts from bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.Prepare weekly and monthly cash reports for senior management.Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.Collaborate on system implementation projects to improve automation.Assist with cash requests for annual financial statement audits.Perform ad-hoc tasks/projects, as assigned.
