Job Title: IBM Sterling Lead

Position Overview: As an IBM Sterling Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to implement, customize, and support IBM Sterling solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to supply chain management, order fulfillment, and B2B integration using IBM Sterling technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of IBM Sterling software suite, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers, analysts, and consultants in the implementation and customization of IBM Sterling solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions using IBM Sterling software suite.
  • Design and architect IBM Sterling solutions tailored to meet specific business needs and objectives.
  • Lead the configuration, development, testing, and deployment phases of IBM Sterling projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IBM Sterling applications.
  • Stay updated on latest trends and developments in IBM Sterling technology landscape.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team and the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes, standards, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (X years) in leading IBM Sterling projects from conception to delivery.
  • Strong expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Sterling Control Center, and other relevant IBM Sterling products.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, and other relevant programming languages and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • IBM Sterling certification(s) preferred.
