Salary - 30,000 INR  – 35,000 INR  per month

Job Description for Senior Accountant:

Requirement for a senior-level accountant with extensive experience or a Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary to work as an internal auditor and lead the finance and accounting team in a company engaged in Imports, processing, and packaging of various food products .

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the ongoing accounting processes related to the following points:

• Import Accounting & Import logistics
• Overall banking & finance control
• High Seas Sales & Purchase
• Accounts Receivables & Payables
• Internal GST Input & Output Reconciliation on a month-to-month basis for all group of companies
• GST Returns - Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual
• TDS Monthly compliances, Payments
• TDS Quarterly Return
• Daily stock accounting at different locations
• Expense Management
• Overall compliance of an Import & Manufacturing company

2. To oversee the compliances of our group companies on a monthly, quarterly, and annual   basis and based on Requirement:

• All GST COMPLIANCES
• INCOME TAX COMPLIANCES
• FSSAI COMPLIANCES
• DGFT COMPLIANCES
• IMPORT COMPLIANCES
• MSME COMPLIANCES
• TDS / TCS COMPLIANCES
• MCA & ROC COMPANY COMPLIANCES
• MCA & ROC LLP COMPLIANCES
• BANKING COMPLIANCES
• FACTORY COMPLIANCES
• INSURANCE COMPANY COMPLIANCES

3. To assume the role of Head of Department (HOD) for the accounting team, overseeing and directing all accounting processes across our group companies. This encompasses ensuring strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) established by the HOD, as well as compliance with relevant rules and regulations mandated by the Government of India.

Requirements:

• For a Senior Accountant position, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Prefer candidates with a Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
• Proven 10 to 15 years of experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Import policies, accounting principles & practices, Regular updation, rules and regulations of accounts, finance GST & Income TAX.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, stock accounting, labour law and compliances.
• Proficient in using accounting software (Tally Prime), MS Office suite and Google sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
