The Opportunity:

We are looking for “ Lead Geomechanist ” capable of demonstrating strong integration skills between subsurface and drilling domain. A performance driven individual adept in assessing and understanding the unique needs of wells / projects and aligning to the business goal.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• PPFG and well bore stability modelling, interpreting FIT and LOT’s.
• CDEC analysis.
• Experience in generating pre-drill forecast and post drill analysis in sandstone and carbonate reservoirs. Deepwater well experience is an advantage.
• Operations Geology (Mudlogging and Log interpretation), Geophysics, Petrophysics, Drilling engineering, Completion strategy, Rig systems and Well controls.
• Awareness of Geotechnical scope, Geophysical scope, and survey requirements.
• Geomechanics software proficiency (e.g. Techlog, Jewelsuite, Drillworks)

Desired Attributes:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in relevant (Drilling PPFG/Geomechanics) with an operator or a service company.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross disciplinary teams both in Subsurface and Drilling domain.
• Candidate must be familiar with PPFG, Geomechanics, Drilling and Subsurface aspects of well planning and execution.
