Job Description:

Role & responsibilities:


Content Creation:

  • Copywriting: Crafting compelling and engaging copy for social media posts, ensuring it aligns with the brand's voice and tone.
  • Design: Create graphic designs using design tools like Canva to create visually appealing and shareable content, including images, infographics, and videos.


Strategy Development:

  • Content Strategy: Planning and developing a content calendar that aligns with the overall marketing and business goals.
  • Campaign Planning: Creating and executing social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Audience Engagement: Monitoring trends, responding to comments, and engaging with the audience to build a community around the brand.


Scheduling and Publishing:

  • Scheduling Tools: Utilizing social media scheduling tools to plan and automate the posting of content across different platforms.
  • Timing Optimization: Identifying optimal posting times based on the target audience's behavior and platform algorithms.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as likes, shares, comments, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing social media metrics to gain insights into the effectiveness of campaigns and making data-driven decisions.
  • Reporting: Creating regular reports to showcase social media performance and suggesting improvements.


Community Management:

  • Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints on social media platforms.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivating and nurturing relationships with followers, influencers, and other relevant communities.


Stay Updated on Trends:

  • Platform Updates: Keeping up to date with changes in algorithms, features, and trends on major social media platforms.
  • Industry Trends: Staying informed about industry trends and incorporating relevant content into the social media strategy .


Ad Campaigns:

  • Paid Advertising: Creating and managing paid social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and achieve specific objectives.
  • Budget Management: Monitoring ads spend and optimizing campaigns for maximum return on investment


Collaboration:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer support, to align social media efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Identifying and collaborating with influencers to amplify the brand's reach.


Continuous Learning:

  • Professional Development: Staying current with industry best practices, attending webinars, workshops, and seeking opportunities for professional growth.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of social media marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience/knowledge with B2C social media, Google AdWords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
  • Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Web Trends etc.)
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
