Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Designer. the designer is responsible for all aspects related to the design of Retail and Custom Products with a focus on high end jewelled products, objects and furniture. In addition, the Designer will independently develop concepts within the strategic direction of the company.. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs and iterate on design solutions based on feedback. The Product Designer will also work closely with production managers and management to ensure a seamless design and production experience.
Responsibilities
Serve as the designer on Product Development projects . Prepare and review artwork in compliance with design standards and project timelines. Support Senior Management in the creation of designs during the exploration phase of new concept development. Develop designs for specific strategic initiatives. Use autocad / Rhino and pencil sketching in design development process.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Fine Arts or Masters degree and 6+ months in the crafts /design industry. Highly developed design skills, Must be self-motivated, proactive, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator and 3-D CAD. Advanced Rhino skills required.

Ability to sketch and create detailed designs in Rhino.
