Responsibilities

As a Chartered Accountant specializing in audit, you will be responsible for leading and executing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Audit Planning and Execution:
• Developing comprehensive audit plans based on risk assessments and client requirements.
• Conducting audit fieldwork, including substantive testing, analytical procedures, and compliance testing.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, internal controls, and accounting systems to assess reliability and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Internal Controls Evaluation:
• Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Identifying control deficiencies and recommending improvements to enhance internal control environments.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and templates.
• Keeping abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure audit processes remain current and effective

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience in audit and assurance services.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and mentoring audit teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
