Position Title : Senior US Payroll Executive


Job Summary :

As a Senior US Payroll Executive, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the payroll processing for our organization's US Division. You will be responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and timely including compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This responsibility extends to mentoring, training, and guiding the payroll team.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Processing : Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all US employees, including salary, hourly, and contingent workers. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll runs, including bonuses, commissions, and other compensatory elements.

Compliance : Stay abreast of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes tax withholding, wage and hour laws, and any other payroll-related regulations.

  • Management : Oversee the payroll system(s) and ensure it is properly configured to meet the needs of the organization. Implement system updates and enhancements as needed to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting : Generate payroll reports as needed for internal stakeholders, finance, and external agencies. Provide analysis and insights into payroll data to support decision-making processes.

  • and Reviews : Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed during audits and reviews.
  • Improvement : Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve the payroll process. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy while reducing manual effort.


Qualifications :

  • degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Payroll Professional (CPP) designation - preferred .
  • years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on US payroll.
  • understanding of federal, state, and local US payroll regulations.
  • with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and proficiency in MS Excel.
