The candidate will need to work closely with both the Software Development Team, Architecture team, and the Product Manager to gather requirements, prioritize, and coordinate timing on feature delivery. The ideal candidate will be technical, ambitious, organized, a great communicator both written and oral, and has experience in executing project development with Agile principles. Ideally, you've been a Lead / PM for a product, have experience in SaaS offerings and are comfortable operating in an agile environment.QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum 4 years experience in data architecture or managing data engineering teams with an overall experience of 8+ years of experience.Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure data architectures and complex data models.Strong programming experience with technical background in SQL and Python.Experience with AWS cloud services with focus on data analytics and data management (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena).Familiarity with basics of data governance and compliance regulations.Experience in forming and leading engineering teams, including managing development processes within a matrixed organization.Excellent mentoring, leadership, time management and project management skills.Experience working in new product development setting under an Agile Methodology.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and build data analytics solutions that includes the development of scalable and secure data pipelines and data models for data lake/warehouse platforms tailored to support complex analysis and reporting needs.Establish clear technical roadmaps and strategies to enhance the organization's data analytics capabilities.Define, document, and maintain solution standards, architecture blueprints, and engineering practices across the analytics domain.Design logical and physical data models for modern data warehouses to facilitate complex analysis and reporting requirements.Lead the exploration and integration of emerging data technologies and tools, positioning the organization for advanced data-driven decision-making.Responsible for the successful (reliable, on time, in scope, within budget) delivery of analytics products.Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.Oversees the work of development teams located both onshore and offshore. Drives the creation of feature and project estimates and timelines in accordance with established agile practice.Maintains accountability / sign-off for technical deliverables as well as significant technical decisions such as technology selection.Work closely with Product Management, Client Experience Teams, Client Account Teams, Data Architects, Analytic Consultants, Technical Operations staff and other Development Managers to ensure successful delivery.Maintains technical ownership for larger, more complex projects and/or a larger collection of projects.Coordinates development planning across multiple projects, including release planningDevelops and maintains the project plan throughout the project development cycle and is ultimately responsible for on time/budget/scope deliveryCommunicate appropriately up and down the management chain.Manage established relationships with technology and staffing vendors.Responsible for technical personnel within the department including managing and developing team members to their highest potential performance level as well as department morale, development resources and tools, staffing actions (hiring and disciplinary) and compensation (promotions).Contributes to development and implementation of product, platform and technology strategies.Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.Posting CategoryGeneralistOpportunity TypeRegularCountryIndia
