Dot Net with Azure Cloud Migration Specialist
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead the assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the
• Azure cloud with emphasis on code reuse, leveraging past investments and align
• to the future technical and business roadmaps.
• Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable,
high performance solutions using Azure cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud migration,
• including product owners, application owners, software architects,
infrastructure
• teams, and security teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to application teams and stakeholders
• throughout the cloud migration process.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and integrate
• innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage.
• Create and maintain playbooks for migration and modernization of applications,
• databases, and infrastructure, ensuring easy onboarding of new team members
• and effective knowledge transfer.
Your Experience:
• Must Have Skills: Experience with migration tools like Azure Migrate –
Application
• and Code Assessment for .NET, and .NET Upgrade Assistant, Azure Data
Migration Assistant
• Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies and best practices of
• both migration assessment and implementation.
• Containerize .NET web apps and migrate to Azure Kubernetes Service
• Experience migrating apps to Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service
(AKS),
• and optionally to Azure Container Apps, Azure Virtual Desktop
• Creation Date │ Department │ Author
• Experience in migrating SQL databases with Azure Database Migration Service
• Good working experience of modern architectures (microservices, clean
• architecture, event bus or similar)
• 5+ years of experience with async programming with C#, .NET core and Azure
• BE/B.Tech degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
