About the role
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical proficiency, and a passion for creating inspiring spaces. As an Architectural Drafter at 32ND, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans, ensuring the seamless execution of projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with architects to develop preliminary design concepts and layouts.
- Translate design concepts into detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, reflecting the design intent and specifications for the project using CAD software.
- Ensure that all drawings and plans comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards. Make necessary adjustments to meet regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to coordinate design elements and integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the architectural drawings. Communicate effectively to resolve any design conflicts or issues.
- Maintain organised project files and documentation, including revisions and updates.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, renderings, and 3D models to visualize design concepts and communicate them effectively to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
What You Bring To The Table
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, or related field
- Proven experience working as an Architectural Drafter or a similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and techniques.
- Well-rounded with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
