Agile Product Management Advisor


Position Overview:

Agile Product Management Advisor is a position that specializes in running an Agile Scrum team and managing product & its delivery. The advisor works on managing the Scrum Ceremonies, coordinating with Onsite partners as needed to get requirements and timelines, planning the sprints to achieve timeliness and quality standards expected. You will work with the Engineering, product and business teams as needed using the collaboration tools available to clarify business and product requirements, write user stories, refine them with the team, plan the sprints, communicate the plan, manage dependencies, escalate risks, and deliver to the plan.


Responsibilities:

  • Elicit Requirements from Business and Product teams & discuss with Engineers to convert them into system-specific technical requirements.
  • Decompose work into features and write user stories, refine them in the team
  • Run scrum ceremonies with the team.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that blocks are cleared during the sprint
  • Plan the work – plans needed at annual, quarterly, release and sprint levels. Adjust & maintain the planning roadmaps in an agile manner
  • Participate in Agile development processes and meetings.


Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Agile Scrum Process and Agile tools
  • Strong & Advanced Experience with Altassian – JIRA is required.
  • Experience writing user stories, splitting user stories, story pointing exercises
  • Experience and/or knowledge with technology concepts is preferred
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, Linux, and networking concepts is beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly and independently learn new skills.


Required Experience & Education:

  • 8+ years of experience AND Masters Degree in a related technical/business area required OR a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience is required.
  • Additional IT related or Agile related Certifications preferred


Desired Experience:

  • Healthcare experience


Location & Hours of Work

  • Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.
  • Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
