Our solutions are powering the digital transformation of scientific laboratories by enabling them with modern lab data connectivity infrastructure and tools to accelerate science.​ Role Description The position is for a front-end leader/architect in the product development for Scitara working with the global engineering team. We are looking for an experienced Technical Leader who will own technical vision of the product and drive it by leading the team for quality delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in front-end development, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for quality and cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities Lead the vision for the Frontend, Design and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architectures. Define application scope and objectives and prepare the technical and/or design specifications from which software will be developed by a team of developers. Lead the front-end development team by providing technical guidance and mentoring to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and system test reviews. Looking at improvement areas to existing system and proposing/driving the next generation system design. Implement and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and participate in testing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Interface with the Product Management, Architects, backend team to understand and influence project requirements. Deep-dive on production issues for root cause analysis and fastest turnaround time to the customer issues. Drive the evolution of our technology stack, staying up to date with the latest industry trends. Mentor and Share knowledge with team to make sure they grow technically. Identify and propose Proof-of-concepts required for future releases. Educational Qualifications Bachelor/Master of Engineering or equivalent in Computer Engineering, IT or related field Experience 15+ years of hands on experience in frontend product development Experience building cloud-native applications with a continuous delivery strategy. Proven expertise in technical leadership and mentoring the team. Solid experience working as subject matter expert and solving technical problems. Worked in agile development methodologies. Experience with informatics applications or GxP compliant applications is preferred. Experience in secure coding and building applications for regulated industries Desired Skills Deep understanding of MERN (Mongo-Express-React-Node Js) stack. Knowledge of cloud frameworks (AWS/ Azure/ GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis) Working knowledge of Restful APIs and Web Sockets Must have Strong communication skills including technical documentation, written reports and proposals, development and delivery of presentations and the ability to listen to and communicate effectively with customers and vendors. Attitude and aptitude to lead the team technically from the front. Demonstrated ability to work with product management, system architects, services team to understand the requirements, problems and design the solutions Experience with informatics applications or GxP compliant applications Experience in secure coding and building applications for regulated industries
