Key Role & Responsibilities: Find, report, and track defects, verify the fixes, prepare defect reports. Work closely with other QA Engineers and Developers to help create, maintain, and execute automated, system/regression test scripts. Develop & execute test plans that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability. Test single and multiplayer GUIs - which support high-definition video and high-resolution graphics streaming over the IP network. Understand application architecture, user stories, etc. Plan and Create test cases, schedule test execution. Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, and scalability testing. Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. to Make sure any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users. Study and clarify testing requirements to QA engineers. Determine what to test, prioritize the tasks, and monitor the test coverage. Develop test documentation and deliver it to a product owner. Skills: 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications. Good to have automation testing using Selenium Webdriver/Grid. Experience in performance/load testing using Jmeter is good to have. Good to have experience in writing SQL queries to validate data integrity. Experience in test frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave, JUnit/NUnit, TestNG, etc. would be an added advantage. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, and Git. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC, QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes. Work experience in a product organization preferably a tech start-up. Desire to study new technologies and products. Effective work management and communication. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Knowledge of project management systems, electronic document management, and software development life cycle. Proficiency in working with large amounts of data and collecting and documenting project requirements.
