General Manager - Education & Partnership-(Higher Education)

Key Responsibilities


1. Identify and establish partnerships with educational institutions, including schools, colleges, universities and educational training centers, to support the implementation of skill development initiatives aligned with objectives.

2. Collaborate with internal teams to understand the skill requirements of industries and employers and align educational programs accordingly.

3. Develop and implement joint programs, workshops, and seminars through training partners to enhance students' soft skills, technical competencies, and employability.

4. Facilitate curriculum and content development and provide guidance on adding future skills programs with defining academic bank of credits.

5. Coordinate with industry associations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to leverage resources and expertise for skill development initiatives.

6. Provide guidance and support to educational institutions in designing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies and pedagogical practices.

7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership programs through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and performance metrics.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best & new practices in education and skill development.

9. Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals to communicate the impact of partnership initiatives and identify areas for improvement.


Education Qualifications - Bachelors degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.


Experience


• Experience working in education management, partnership development, or business development roles.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills, including writing, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

• Knowledge of the education sector, including school systems and higher education institutions.

• Understanding of the Education Policy and its implications for skill development and educational partnerships.

• Project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.

• Analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of partnership programs and identify areas for improvement.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable education opportunities for all students.

• Experience working with educational institutions, universities, government agencies, or non-profit organizations on skill development or education reform initiatives.

• Knowledge of industry trends, workforce development needs, and labor market dynamics.

• Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools for teaching and learning.

• Previous experience in marketing, business development, or sales roles would be advantageous.

• Advanced degree or certification in Education, Business Administration, or related fields
