Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Hyderabad/Noida/GGN

Experience: 5-8 years


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales meetings and deliver presentations to demonstrate products to prospects, either online or in person, alongside the Account Manager.
  • Articulate platform features and differentiators to prospects, explaining the technical value and benefits of the solution.
  • Clearly communicate the value of offerings to audiences ranging from CxOs to Engineers.
  • Provide deep technical product walk-throughs for various technical audiences, addressing questions and overcoming adoption barriers.
  • Assist clients in defining evaluation criteria and demonstrate how the product meets them.
  • Participate in consultations and product capability assessments with prospects.
  • Prepare and deliver targeted PowerPoint presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Set up and build product demo environments and assets.
  • Assist in delivering proof of concept/pilot projects to demonstrate value.
  • Create proposals and responses to RFI/RFP documents.
  • Conduct solutions workshops with prospects to define business requirements and processes.
  • Become a subject matter expert in messaging, mobile, and cloud technologies to build trust with prospects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, existing customers, and channel partners.
  • Assist marketing with trade shows, case studies, demo scripts, demo videos, and white papers.
  • Expect travel to customer and prospect meetings, with 25-50% nights spent on the road.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of the technology industry, especially enterprise bots and messaging platforms, to stay aware of trends, issues, and competition.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales, software development, or a technical role working with enterprise software systems.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience in mobility/wireless solutions, including device manufacturers, network providers, mobile network standards, on-device applications, mobile web browser applications, and SMS applications.
  • Functional enterprise software integration experience using standard integration protocols such as Webhooks, REST APIs, Web Services, and RSS.
  • Software application development experience, with mobile application development being a plus.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, encryption, and single sign-on capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Experience communicating with CxO executives, Marketing, other line of business owners, and technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with online presentation and training services like RingCentral, GoToMeeting, WebEx, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent sales force automation tools.
  • Proficiency with Smart Phones: iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry.
  • Proficiency with MacOS, Windows 7 or 8, and Linux.

Other Skills Appreciated:

  • Industry vertical experience in financial services, healthcare, travel and hospitality, mobile ecommerce, or social networking.
