Luxury Brand Communications Lead

Tilfi Banaras is a leading brand for handloom textiles of Varanasi. We work with hundreds of weavers and artisans to produce some of the finest Banarasi handloom textiles that are woven today.


We are looking for a Luxury Brand Communications Lead who will be responsible for managing and implementing the brand and communication strategies for Tilfi. They will work to promote the brand through various channels, including brand campaigns, website and social media, events and external relations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
  • Manage content creation for the organisation’s website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
  • Build and deliver communication strategies for customer engagement and experience
  • Collaborate with a team of in-house specialists (graphic design, copywriting and image/video production) as well as external creatives to create relevant content
  • Coordinate with the PR agencies to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other key stakeholders; monitor and coordinate for sourcing requests, press releases, interviews and media coverage.
  • Coordinate and manage events and marketing activations, such as product launches, press/influence events or artistic collaborations/ installations
  • Develop and coordinate budgets for communication campaigns and events.
  • Analyse communication metrics and provide regular reports to management.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Design, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field and Bachelor’s degree in Design or an artistic field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in design and communications, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various audiences.
  • Experience managing media relations and executing successful media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
