Research and Development Manager - Homecare Products

Talentco HR is committed to being a one-stop solution that enables them to take care of all their clients' HR initiatives directly.The RoleKey Responsibilities:• Lead and manage the R&D team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.• Develop and execute R&D strategies and roadmaps aligned with the company's business objectives and market trends.• Oversee the formulation development process for a range of homecare products, including Washing Powder, Dish wash Bar, Dish wash Liquid, Detergents, Soaps, Bathing Soap, Floor Cleaner, Toilet Cleaner, Hand wash.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Production to ensure successful product launches and commercialization.• Drive innovation by identifying new ingredients, technologies, and formulation approaches to improve product performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, research partners, and industry stakeholders to stay abreast of emerging trends and opportunities.• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols throughout the product development process.Ideal ProfileQualifications:• Master's degree (M. Sc.) in Organic Chemistry or Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Oils, Oleochemicals, or Surfactants Technology. Ph.D. with the same qualifications is preferred.• Proven experience in R&D leadership roles within the homecare products industry, with a track record of successful product development and commercialization.• In-depth knowledge of formulation chemistry, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing processes for homecare products.• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.• Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Additional Requirements:• Availability to travel occasionally for conferences, supplier visits, or other business-related activities.What's on Offer?
