Technical Sales Engineer

We seek a target-driven and customer-centric sales engineer to join our growing organization. As a technical sales engineer, you will create custom technical solutions that meet customer needs and help create long-lasting partnerships. The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer-centric, technically strong, and an excellent communicator.


Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals for each sales call to capture customer requirements
  • Coordinate with the service team for updates on technical development across our install base
  • Perform technical comparisons to offer a competitive solution
  • Prepare presentations, notes, and relevant documents for each sales call
  • Participate in seminars and trade shows as our technical representative.
  • Lead technical explanations during sales calls
  • Travel extensively with sales leads up to 70% of the time.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales-centric position.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field from reputed engineering institutions.
  • Working knowledge of incoterms and its applications
  • Proficiency in cycle time analysis calculation for manufacturing machines and environments
  • Experience with working in high-performing sales team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with computers and experience with MS Office products and other relevant softwares


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field from reputed engineering institutions.
  • Import of capital equipment sales is preferred.
  • Participation and awards in extra-curricular activities related to sales
  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following domains: automation, machine design, computer vision, power electronics, electronic components, robotics
  • Proven ability to lead tasks from initiation to completion with minimal support
  • Positive attitude and a desire to continually improve


Salary range: INR 6 - 9 Lakhs. Salary is negotiable based on the candidate's skills and experience. The company offers competitive incentive packages, medical care for self and family, and other benefits.
