Title - Senior Associate - Community Management The Role: We are seeking a Senior Associate for our Social Media and Community Operations team. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our online presence and fostering engagement within our community. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of strategic thinking, creative flair, and excellent communication skills. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize content performance and inform future strategies. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in social media. Community Engagement: Actively engage with our online community across different platforms to foster meaningful interactions. Respond promptly to inquiries, comments, and messages from community members in a professional and courteous manner. Cultivate relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and community partners to amplify our reach and impact. Identify opportunities for community-driven initiatives and collaborations. Content Creation and Curation: Produce high-quality written and visual content, including posts, articles, videos, and graphics. Collaborate with internal teams to gather content ideas and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging. Monitor user-generated content and facilitate its sharing and promotion within the community. Moderation and Reputation Management: Monitor discussions, comments, and user-generated content to ensure adherence to community guidelines and brand values. Address and resolve conflicts or issues within the community in a timely and diplomatic manner. Implement moderation policies and procedures to maintain a safe and respectful online environment. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on social media and community engagement metrics, highlighting key trends, successes, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics for maximizing engagement and impact. Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management, community operations, or related roles. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus. Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques is desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues and manage online reputation effectively. Location: Bangalore
