Join our BIM – Tunnels and Underground Structures team in Gurgaon We are part of the Tunnels and Underground Structures department, consisting of more than enthusiastic colleagues working from India, Denmark, Germany, Norway, South Korea and Taiwan, while collaborating closely with colleagues in the United Kingdom and North America. We have a proven history of making wind energy solutions possible even under the most complex conditions – deep waters, challenging soil conditions, and regions with high seismic activity and typhoons/hurricanes. For offshore wind, we design both floating and bottom-fixed structures. Since , we have been involved in more than 1, wind power projects in 70 countries. We are currently looking for an Associate Technical Director to lead Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Sustainability within infrastructures to join our team of experts which includes planners, engineers, and designers. With expertise within sustainability, resource efficiency and life cycle assessment, you will work through innovative solutions with a set of highly professional colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams to transform challenges into opportunities and create good solutions for our customers which are typically public asset owners and large international contractors. Our largest customers are primarily in Scandinavia, North America, United Kingdom and Singapore. Additionally, as an Associate Director in LCA and Sustainability, you will move in a unique interdisciplinary role between market-leading advisors within planning, engineering, and design of large infrastructure on the international market, such as bridges, tunnels & underground and marine infrastructures within the transportation, energy and water sectors. Your base office will be Gurgaon, Haryana, India and report to the Vice President, Tunnels and Underground Structures : Your key responsibilities will be: Lead and coordinate LCA and Sustainability objectives on our large and complex international projects Lead and contribute to trainings and seminars and development of work procedures and digital tools within LCA. Lead, train and develop talent to support the sustainability and LCA functions on the projects. Lead Sustainability management during various phases of the project - from pre-bid to lessons-learned. Work, guide, or support on preparation of EPD's for construction materials and processes. Coordinate and collaborate by teamwork across disciplines and departments, nationally and internationally and with a wide range of clients. To succeed in this position, we believe that you are a specialist in LCA with 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Successful delivery of international projects through efficient team leadership in your speciality Experience in LCA and Sustainability Management Experience using LCA software, such as GaBi,SimaPro and One Click LCA Development of carbon footprint inventories based on relevant standards Sustainability certification schemes DGNB, LEED, BREEAM Infrastructure (former CEEQUAL) or Envision Furthermore, you are: An accomplished leader in your field of specialisation A result-oriented individual with focus on quality, thoroughness, and business Analytical, detail-oriented and takes pride in getting projects done on time A collaborator with a desire to create something bigger together, one who enjoys an international working environment and developing talent An effective communicator in English, including that you can engage in a multicultural stakeholder’s business environment An educated scientist or engineer within environmental science (university degree of minimum 3 years)
