Job Description Position: Senior Manager - Planning Experience: 12-16yrs experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry Qualification: Engineering Graduate OR Post Graduate in Management Work Location: Mysore Job Profile:   Customer Demand Analysis: •            Utilize historical data, market trends, and customer feedback to analyze demand patterns. •            Use forecasting techniques to predict future demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly. Demand Waterfall Preparation: •            Develop a structured approach to manage the flow of demand information throughout the supply chain. •            Establish clear communication channels between sales, marketing, production, and procurement teams. Material Constraint Analysis: •            Identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain related to material availability. •            Collaborate with suppliers to address constraints and ensure timely delivery of materials. What-if Scenario Simulation: •            Use simulation tools to model different scenarios and evaluate their impact on operations. •            Anticipate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Impact Analysis: •            Assess the consequences of changes in demand, supply, or operations on key performance metrics. •            Develop strategies to minimize negative impacts and capitalize on opportunities. Work Creation and Monitoring: •            Generate work orders based on production schedules and customer orders. •            Monitor the progress of work orders to ensure timely completion and delivery. Cumulative Lead Time (CMLT) / Replenishment Lead Time (RLT) Simulation: •            Continuously update lead time data based on actual performance and changes in the supply chain. •            Use simulation tools to optimize lead time and minimize delays. Excess and Obsolescence Analysis and Reporting: •            Identify excess inventory and obsolete materials through regular inventory audits. •            Develop strategies to reduce excess and mitigate obsolescence risks. Clear to Build (CTB) Report Preparation: •            Compile data on material availability, production capacity, and order status to determine what can be built. •            Generate CTB reports to communicate build readiness to relevant stakeholders. Expiration Management of Shelf Life Parts: •            Implement systems to track shelf life expiration dates for perishable materials. •            Develop processes for timely utilization or disposition of expired inventory. ECN Management and Implementation: •            Manage engineering change notices (ECNs) to ensure smooth transition to updated product designs. •            Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement ECNs without disrupting production. Rapid Response Tool Utilization: •            Utilize rapid response tools to quickly address supply chain disruptions or customer issues. •            Develop protocols for activating rapid response procedures as needed. CFT Participation and Customer Call Attending: •            Actively participate in cross-functional teams (CFTs) to address supply chain challenges and improve processes. •            Provide timely updates on material status to customers and address any concerns or inquiries. Coordination with Program Management: •            Collaborate with program management teams to align supply chain activities with project milestones and objectives. •            Ensure that program requirements are communicated effectively to supply chain stakeholders. Shortage List Preparation and Updating: •            Maintain a list of materials with current or potential shortages. •            Regularly update the shortage list based on changing demand, supply, and production conditions.   Requirements Experience : 15 + Customer Demand Analysis, Demand Water Fall preparation Material Constraint Analysis , What if scenario simulation , Impact Analysis Work Creation , Material Feeding , WO monitoring and completion Cumulative Lead Time (CMLT)/ Replenishment Lead Time (RLT) simulation updation Excess and Obsolescence Analysis ana Reporting CTB , Clear to Build Report preparation and reporting Expiration Management of Shelf Life parts ECN Management, Implementation Rapid REsponse Tool utilization CFT participation, Customer Call attending - Updation of Material status Co ordination with Program Management Shoratage List preparation and updation
