Architect- Entra ID & Active Directory

Job Duties

Responsible for architecture within Microsoft 365 needs to be able to design, present, troubleshoot and implement infrastructure solutions including some or all the following:

• Focus on Entra Identity solutions to leverage innovative technologies for solving business challenges, emphasizing Entra ID and its integration with cloud and on-premises environments.
• Expertise in the Microsoft Suite of products, with a special emphasis on identity and access management features within Office 365, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID.
• In-depth knowledge of identity management, including Entra ID, on-premises Active Directory, and the seamless integration between cloud and on-premises directories.
• Understanding of cloud identity concepts and how they apply within Azure environments.
• Ability to utilize business acumen to develop, present, and implement Zero Trust roadmaps, health checks, and assessments for clients.
• Lead project management efforts, focusing on strategic and challenging client projects with a significant emphasis on Entra ID solutions.
• Translate client business requirements into technical Entra ID designs and implementation plans.
• Effectively communicate Entra ID technical designs and plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring client buy-in and satisfaction with identity solutions.
• Guide and oversee teams of technical architects and engineers in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of Entra ID projects.
• Develop and advise on Entra ID technology roadmaps for clients, integrating these plans with broader hybrid cloud technology solutions.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on the impact of Entra ID projects, both ongoing and planned on their technology roadmap.
• Support client acquisition efforts with solution presentations focused on Entra ID, assisting in the development of proposals with clear requirements and scope.
• Be prepared for local travel to client sites as needed to support Entra ID initiatives.
• Perform other duties related to Entra ID as required, ensuring the secure and efficient management of identities across client organizations.

• Working Environment: Hybrid
• Office Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manages Infrastructure solutions and delivery team.
• Proactively manages team to defined practice KPIs while responsible for team performance metrics, yield, and developing new skills.
• Evaluates and builds a high performing team while supporting the team’s hiring, recruiting, and retention.
• Manages professional development of team and leads performance evaluations of direct reports

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science /Information Technology.

Experience:

· Six (6) or more years of technical infrastructure implementation experience with increasing responsibility within Azure Cloud Solutions, required.

• Three (3) or more years of experience in cloud or on-premises server virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), Active Directory and networking, required.
• Experience in client marketing and successfully managing multiple client pursuits and proposal efforts, preferred.
• Experience working in a consulting’s offshore and onshore environment, preferred.

Technology:

Two or more of the following, required:

• Directory and Identity Services (Entra ID/AD Connect, AD domain migration)
• Office 365 (O365) (Exchange Online or Teams meetings calling & devices)
• Endpoint Manager (Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot)
• Application and Desktop Presentation (Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services, Citrix XenApp/Desktop or Horizon View)
• Enterprise Mobility + Security

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of EMS for security, governance and centralized authentication is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
• Strong project planning, scoping and management skills.
• Strong business process analysis & design and process flow skills
• Client facing consulting experience.
