Position Overview: As a Team Lead for the TRS Team, you will need to participate in planning translator pool capacity and projects. The position will involve collaborating with different teams like LQ, TAQ, Training as well as coordination teams ensure Translator resources are as required. As a lead you will also require managing people and administrative tasks associated to a lead.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in planning translator pool capacity and projects.
  • Monitor capacity of translator pools and oversee strategies for maximum utilization.
  • Work with various Global Translator Management (GTM) teams to facilitate capacity requests and meet production needs.
  • Collaborate with Project Coordination teams to source translator resources and outline workflows Strategize work assignments to inactive and newly onboarded translators.
  • Assist in root cause investigation for coordination escalations.
  • Assist in addressing rate queries from translators with Project Coordination teams.
  • Proactively review translator pools against volume influx to manage capacity for projects.
  • Manage a systematic approach to gather vendor capacities.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team (TAQ) to onboard vendors.
  • Collaborate with Training team to prep vendors to use Sfera platform.
  • Identify need for vendor offloads and collaborate with PC teams to offload work to vendors
  • Address escalations from vendors and resolve queries in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with LQ team to evaluate vendors’ work and communicate feedback to vendors.
  • Participate or host weekly meetings with Project Coordination teams across different regions
  • Help identify process gaps and its solutions.
  • Lead documentation processes to record TRS workflows
  • Reinvent team priorities and oversee the team members to prioritize tasks
  • Conduct 1-3-6-month probation reviews for newer recruits with inputs from Manager.
  • Preparing Quarterly/yearly performance reviews for team members.
  • Intervene and resolve conflicts within team members
  • Recognize and reward team members’ accomplishments, through nominations for awards like Snappy's, Oscars, etc.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with team members and understand their challenges and help overcome them.
  • Act as a mentor. Provide guidance to the team based on decisions taken by the team management. Ensuring compliance on timesheets, Absence adjustments etc. within the team

Experience:


  • Someone with Subtitling industry is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of work experience
  • Someone who can focus on people management as well as someone with production/operations experience
  • Need the candidate to be good with collaboration and be able to lead meetings seamlessly
