Job Summary: The person will be responsible for managing tax compliance, tax reporting, and planning. This role requires in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with financial data. The person will collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and to support the company's financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Tax Compliance: Review various tax returns. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines. Maintain and organize all tax-related documentation and records. Tax Reporting: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards Analyze financial statements to identify tax implications and ensure accurate tax reporting. Support the preparation of tax-related disclosures for financial statements. Tax Planning and Research: Conduct research on tax issues and new tax regulations to ensure the company is aware of potential impacts. Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and support business decisions. Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on implications for the company. 4.

Financial Statement Analysis: Understanding of key financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and how they relate to tax reporting and compliance. Ability to identify tax implications from financial data and transactions. Accounting Principles: Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as they relate to tax accounting and reporting. Understanding of deferred tax assets and liabilities, tax provisions, and the impact of accounting methods on tax reporting. Budgeting and Forecasting: Ability to analyze financial forecasts and budgets to identify potential tax impacts. Work with financial planning teams to integrate tax considerations into the company’s financial plans. Financial Systems: Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP software, enabling accurate extraction and analysis of financial data for tax purposes. Ability to leverage technology for efficient tax reporting and compliance.

Audit and Compliance Support: Assist with tax audits, including the preparation of documentation and responses to tax authorities. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax reporting and compliance. Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the company’s tax processes. Required Qualifications: Education: Chartered Accountant with Minimum 2 years of experience. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in tax compliance, reporting, and planning. Experience with tax software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus. Skills: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations. Proficient in financial analysis and understanding financial statements. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Personal Attributes: High ethical standards and integrity.
