Synopsis of the role The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the supply chain operations for the business, including but not limited to: Production planning & control Costing Forecasting S& OP Logistics & warehousing Overseas distribution The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficiency and innovation in their area and for contributing to the Company’s overall business objectives. 1.Essential functions In-depth experience in: S& OP Dealing with the changing dynamics of a fast-growing business Managing overseas storage & distribution of food products Managing outsourced production partners Import & export operations The FMCG space Budgets and P&L Highly comfortable dealing and/ or managing: Third party partners in India (e.g. production) Third party partners overseas (e.g. warehousing & distribution) Clients in developed markets 2.Critical Skills and Job Complexity a) Unique Knowledge and Skills: In-depth experience of: o The FMCG space (ideally, not essentially, in food) o Dealing with limited ‘shelf-life’ products (e.g., RTC food) o Meeting end-client retailers’ needs and expectations o Meeting consumers’ needs and expectations (i.e. a consumer champion) Passionate about food Excellent written and spoken English Ability to foster and cultivate business partnerships b) Contacts Types/Levels Internal & External Organisation wide (India & UK) and external. Clients Subsidiaries in Australia, Canada, India, and the UK c) Problem Solving & Decision Making Highly analytical Highly numerate Excellent decision making ability Dynamic and adaptable 3.Preferred education and experience Management graduate with 8 + years of experience in a FMCG environment (preferably in the food industry) Preference (not essential) in dealing with and meeting the needs and expectation of retailers in developed markets. 4.
