We have our in-house built Self Checkout Application for offline shopping, Headless commerce (Mobile/Desktop) application for online shopping, interactive applications for playground, events booking, connectors for integrating with external marketplaces, 3rd party integrators for a sport eco-system experience and several robust services for transport management (last mile delivery), order management, back office operations and fintech. Role overview, As the Application Development Team Lead, you'll orchestrate the success of our technology initiatives, reshaping the retail landscape. You will inspire and lead a team of accomplished functional and technical professionals, cultivating a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and impactful project delivery. Your main responsibilities includes, Lead with Impact : Guide and mentor techno functional analysts, project managers, software developers, quality analysts, and application support engineers fostering their growth and ensuring project excellence. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Skills: Project Management Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Exceptional project management skills - SDLC, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation and budgeting. Technical Proficiency in Retail Technologies like POS, Omni Channel Solutions, In-Store Clienteling Applications, Payment Solutions, Self Check-Out and Mobile Check-out Solutions, RFID Technologies, Supply Chain for Retail, In-Store Inventory Management, Loyalty Programs etc. Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis. Knowledge of Kafka architecture, data streaming concepts, and experience with Kafka cluster setup and configuration. Familiarity with XML and Json data structures, parsing, and manipulation techniques. Work experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
