Position : Senior DevOps Engineer

Location : Chennai

Responsibilities: As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible to automate the entire stages of application development by applying the CI CD first principles to speed up the development and release cycles while maintaining the software quality simultaneously. You will also help our customers build scalable, efficient and reliable infrastructure. You will implement monitoring for automated system health checks and work collaboratively with the technical teams to instil the best practices to manage IT Operations.

Skills:

· Strong Knowledge of DevOps Methodologies and how to apply them.

· Demonstrated experience in Windows and Linux server administration.

· Hands on experience in one programming language, could be python, JavaScript, Bash

· Experienced to setup, configure and manage source code management systems such as GIT, SVN, bitbucket, github, etc.,

· Should have implemented CI CD pipelines for application deployments using tools such as Jenkins, any opensource or commercial tools.

· Good knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications across multiple hosts.

· Should have implemented configuration management best practices using tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet.

· Experience in provisioning infrastructure using tools like Terraform.

· Exceptional knowledge on VMWare and Virtualization technologies.

· Setup and configure systems to monitor systems, networks, applications, operating systems and services for monitoring and minimizing downtime.

· Good to have experience in implementing CI CD using Azure or AWS DevOps services/solutions.

· Working knowledge on ITIL best practices such as Service request, Incident, Problem, Change and Release management processes.

· Should have the ability to communicate and collaborate with the product and technical teams to design, develop and deploy automated IT Infrastructure solutions.

· Working knowledge of Agile project management methodologies like SCRUM/Kanban.

· Knowledge about security best practices in managing the IT infrastructure consisting of servers, databases, networks, firewalls, load balancers etc.,
