As a member of the Research Accelerator, you will work closely with the Director, Metabolomics Innovation.
You get to collaborate on:
- Leading, planning, organization, and execution of in vitro biological experiments (cell culture to ex vivo samples) leading to discovery of mechanisms of actions of drugs, discovery and establishment of translational biomarkers of disease and therapeutics
- Execution and analysis of omics studies, interpretation, and presentation of data in the context of relevant disease areas to cross-functional team members.
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of experimental data, integration with pre-clinical and clinical omics scale data sets
- Preparation of SOPs, documentation, reports, presentations, and participation in internal/ external meetings
- Work with chemists and biologists to drive drug discovery programs using innovative ideas
- Strong communication on status of the projects, challenges, and deliverables to key stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with Enveda notebooks, SOPs, internal database and support of Enveda standards for protection of intellectual property.
Who will thrive in this role?
- Ph.D. in Cell Biology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioengineering or in a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/ CRO industry/ academia
- Strong background in cell culture, assay development and in vitro screening system is necessary
- Experience in omics (transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics) research scale data interpretation, and analysis is necessary.
- Experience in any disease areas e.g., fibrosis and/ or dermatology is a big plus
- Familiarity with computational tools and resources, organic chemistry, pharmacology, and drug discovery workflows is desirable
- Excellent team player, and experience of working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented start-up environment
