Sr. Manager - Corporate Communications Responsibilities : Advisor to senior leadership team for all matters related to Media Management, Crisis Communication and Internal Communications in an individual contributor capacity. Support in creating the desired and identified positioning of our clients through earned media thought leadership on traditional and new-age platforms Develop and manage overall communications strategy for internal and external stakeholders including positioning statements, strategic communications, business communications, etc… Design, develop & implement effective and consistent media engagement framework across all stakeholder touch-points Build a media network that will enable our clients to use media positively and effectively Ideate innovative communication strategy for a visible impact Build leadership profiling across agreed themes to drive identified positioning Rapid and impactful decision making with internal stakeholders and our clients leadership team Monitor new legislation and thematic topics across the business lines for media engagement and secure relevant opportunities in media Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for flagging and managing issues before and when they arise Create strategic content by writing articles, newsletters, internal emailers, announcements, PR, etc. Partner with media on a regular basis including relationship management for advocacy efforts. Nurture positive media relations and ensure positive share of voice for the brand wrt target competition Qualification / Experience : Masters in Mass Communication / MBA - Marketing Min of 12+ years of managing corporate communication (internal & external) for a listed entity in financial sector Applies broad knowledge of communication principles, business drivers, related areas and external market. Strong understanding of messaging approach and of thought leadership positioning Hands-on knowledge of all facets of Media Management, C-suite communication & advisory on media and Internal Communications Develop an inclusive, holistic approach to communication that straddles across communication mediums & platforms (print/ TV/ digital/ social); and formats (written/ audio/ video) to achieve maximum impact Excellent consulting & communication skills (written and verbal), including media relations A strong ability/ prowess at written communication Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills with the ability to deal with multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives
