Job Summary: tsworks Technologies India Private Limited is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Project Manager specializing in Data and Analytics to lead and manage complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both project management and data analytics, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This position will be a contract to perm, reporting to the Senior Manager and work type will be remote. Responsibilities 1.Project Planning and Initiation: Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements. Conduct project initiation activities, including risk assessment and mitigation planning. 2.Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of data analysts, data engineers, and other relevant specialists. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities. 3.Execution and Monitoring: Oversee the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular status meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders. 4.Data and Analytics Expertise: Leverage expertise in data and analytics to guide the technical aspects of the projects. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data and analytics. 5.Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data outputs. Conduct thorough testing and validation of data and analytics solutions. 6.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery. Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. 7.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries. Ensure alignment between project deliverables and business goals. 8.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned. Key Attributes and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science). 10+ years of relevant experience collaborating with multi-functional teams on business analysis or project management, or software development in retail, supply chain or financial services industry. Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on data and analytics projects. Hands-on experience in Agile Project Management using Scrum or SAFe is necessary. Strong understanding of data management, data analytics, and business intelligence concepts. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Relevant experience working with JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet etc. is important in this role. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience in managing projects using Databricks/Azure/Power BI/Snowflake is a plus. Experience with ITIL principles and handling Service Delivery (Incident, Problem and Change Management) with tools like ServiceNow is a plus.
