Sales Development Representative

ROLE: Responsible for driving the growth of the sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential leads or prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Responsible for generating new leads through various outbound prospecting techniques, such as cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking. Need to research target companies and individuals to identify potential prospects who may have a need for the company's products or services.

• Qualification: Once leads are identified, qualify them based on predefined criteria to determine their suitability as potential customers. This involves engaging with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, goals, and purchasing authority.

• Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings, appointments, or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the appropriate sales representatives. Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's offerings to prospects and overcome objections to secure commitments.

• Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize their pipeline of leads and opportunities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Track prospect interactions, update lead information, and ensure accurate and timely follow-up to move leads through the sales funnel. • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to align goals, strategies, and messaging. Provide valuable insights and feedback from prospect interactions to help refine sales tactics and improve overall effectiveness.

• Continuous Learning and Development: Continuously refine their skills and knowledge through training, coaching, and self-improvement initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and sales best practices to enhance effectiveness in generating and qualifying leads.

• Metrics and Performance Tracking: Measured and evaluated based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of calls made, emails sent, meetings scheduled, and conversion rates.

• Customer Engagement and Relationship Building: While primarily focused on outbound prospecting, it also plays a role in building relationships with potential customers. Engage in meaningful conversations, provide value-added insights, and establish rapport to nurture leads and create opportunities for future sales.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS :

• Should have relevant experience in inside sales.

• Building good client relationships

• Good communication both verbal & writing skills
