Finance Manager

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should possess 5-7 years of experience in finance and accounting, coupled with a strong background in taxation, procurement, vendor management, and team leadership. The Finance Manager, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, with responsibilities including managing the finance department, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashflow management, and financial reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

1.     Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance

2.     Budgeting and Forecasting : Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with management to develop accurate and achievable budgets and forecasts

3.    Financial Accounting : Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies

4.     Taxation & Legal Compliance : Compliance with all taxation & other application laws & regulations. Periodic review & submissions of tax returns & make tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position

5.     Foreign Transaction Management : Navigate foreign transactions, including currency exchange and regulatory compliance, to facilitate cross-border operations

6.     Procurement and Vendor Management : Identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services

7.     Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals

8.     Accounts Payable and Receivable Management : Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments

9.     Cashflow Management : Forecast cash flow needs, monitor cash inflows and outflows, and implement strategies to optimize cash resources

10.  External Stakeholders Management: Coordinate with Auditors, Government authorities, outsourced consultants, and other stakeholders

11.  Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries to employees

12.  Internal Control Implementation: Support in establishing controls, developing, and scaling finance processes during the critical periods of significant growth and expansion within the organization

 

Requirements:

1.    5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles

2.    Relevant industry experience is an added advantage for selection

3.    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or CA-Inter

4.    Minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity

5.  Strong analytical skills with proficiency in accounting, financial analysis, taxation, procurement, and vendor management

6.    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Financial Software applications including Zoho books

7.    Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements

8.    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

9.    Proven track record of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in financial management
