ABOUT THE JOB


As the Director of Communications, you will lead our communication efforts by developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels. You will spearhead PR campaigns aimed at amplifying our messaging, increasing brand visibility, and enhancing public perception. Through strategic planning and targeted execution, you will elevate our brand reputation and recognition, positioning us as a thought leader in the industry. Additionally, you will oversee stakeholder engagement, crisis communication, and performance analysis to drive continuous improvement and maximize the impact of our communication initiatives.

Develop Communication Strategies: Create comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives and values.

PR Campaigns: Develop and execute PR campaigns strategically planned to amplify the company's messaging, increase brand visibility, and enhance public perception, targeting key audiences to achieve specific communication objectives.

Team Leadership : Lead and inspire a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to ensure positive coverage and manage crisis communications effectively. Existing media relations would be preferred.

Content Creation: Oversee the development of engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, social media, website, and internal communications.

Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels to enhance brand reputation and recognition.

Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential issues or emergencies that may impact the company's reputation. Act decisively and transparently to mitigate any negative effects on the brand.

Thought Leadership Spotlight : Position the company and its key executives as thought leaders in the industry through strategic PR initiatives. This may include securing speaking engagements at industry conferences, arranging interviews with media outlets, and publishing insightful content on relevant topics.

Executive Communication : Provide strategic counsel and support to senior executives on communication matters, including public speaking engagements and media interviews. Establish and maintain strong relationships with the gaming community, industry influencers, and advocacygroups. Engage in dialogues, respondto feedback, and address concerns proactively.

Measurement and Analysis: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and provide regular reports to Leadership team. Adjust strategies based on data and feedback.

Policy Communications: Support the Policy Team by developing and implementing communication strategies to advocate for critical policy initiatives.


REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS :


Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 14-15 years of experience in PR & communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Extensive knowledge of traditional and digital media channels, including new age PR & social media platforms and content management systems.

Experience in crisis communication and reputation management is highly desirable.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
