Qualification - B.Tech in Food Technology/ Biotechnology

Work Experience - Minimum 7-8 Years (Instrumentation section - LCMS/ GCMS/ HPLC)



Job Responsibilitie

  • Working as technical manager for Instrumentation section (Expertise in LCMS/ GCMS/ HPLC)
  • .Supervision of day-to-day activities in Instrumentation section and ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the section
  • .Allocating samples to the Sr. Analyst and Analysts as and when the job demands, depending on the workload & individual staff competency
  • .Getting maintained the master sample entry record register in Instrumentation section
  • .Making sure analyst understanding the complete requirements of the method before initiating the analysis
  • .Checking the integrity of reports (in all respects) before forwarding the reports to reporting section
  • .Review of the final report released from Instrumentation section and give opinion and interpretation as per specification applied
  • .Taking part in proficiency testing & Inter-laboratory comparison (ILC) program and Internal quality control (IQC
  • )Method verification and validation in Instrumentation section as per NABL, APEDA, EIC & Client requirements
  • .Overseeing that the analysis is done within the stipulated turnaround time
  • .Supervision and Maintenance of all equipment in respective section along with cleaning and troubleshooting
  • .Monitoring of equipment usage record, internal calibration and intermediate checks
  • .Timely information to the concerned staff in case of repairs or breakdown of instrument(s)
  • .Ensure the procurement, storage, usage, preparation and maintenance of equipment such reference standards, CRM, reagents and glassware in the section
  • .Maintenance and supervision of all the quality records in the laboratory
  • .Preparing training plan and accordingly imparting the training to persons working in chemical section
  • .Giving technical support to operation team for customer enquiries, quotations, complaints etc
  • .Carrying out the root cause analysis and taking appropriate correction action, if any non-conformity take place in respective section
  • .Resolving technical issues related to chemical testing
  • .Maintaining related test methods/protocols. To update the SOP/WI related to chemical Section as and when required
  • .Being responsible for proper testing & reporting of samples received in section
