6+ Years of experience in handling and overseeing security monitoring, incident detection, and response activities. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and identify actionable insights. • Fundamental understanding of network traffic analysis including TCP/IP, routing, switching, protocols, etc. • Knowledgeable in the fundamentals of firewall, Active Directory, DNS, Anti-DDOS, Anti-APT, Antivirus, IDS/IPS, EPP/EDR, FIM, WAF, VPN, PIM, Zscalar Proxy, Decoy, and other security protective/detective controls. • Lead and supervise the SOC team in monitoring, triaging, and responding to security events and incidents, ensuring timely and effective incident detection and response. .• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SOC analysts, helping them develop their skills in security monitoring, incident detection, and response. • Participate in security incident simulations, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhance SOC readiness. • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices through continuous learning, training, and participation in relevant conferences and forums.
