We are hiring for SACM Specialist with experience in Service Configuration Management, IT Asset Management (HAM and SAM), CMDB Operations and Lifecycle Management.

Job Description

Role : SACM Specialist

Responsibilities :

The role of the Configuration Manager is a client, delivery and account team facing role and is central to the monitoring, maintenance, and management of CMDB concerned with supporting Service Models of the CIs.

The Configuration Manager is the management resource who has the overall responsibility for tracking, monitoring, and reporting upon the structure of an agreed set of services and supporting CIs throughout their lifecycle within the CMDB. The Configuration Manager ensures the structure in the models associated with CIs is accurate and reflects the ‘real world’, such that Incident, Problem and Change can more effectively operate and the service impact can be swiftly and accurately understood. The Configuration Manager is the main resource for identifying process anomalies and exception reporting for the configuration management service.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working as incident/major incident manager.

• Should possess good understanding of ITIL® V3 OR ITIL4 Service Values.

• Should have strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

• Lead role while acting as a liaison with internal/external customers

• Strong IT service management skills

• Should have exposure to ITSM ticketing tools i.e ServiceNow, ITOM, BMC Remedy, Flexera etc.

• Good interpersonal, organization and customer services skills

• Experience of working within Change, Configuration or Release in a demanding and complex environment.

• Certification on market leading ITSM ticketing tools would be preferred

• Prior experience in IT service management roles.

• Knowledge of ITIL® best practices
