Associate Manager Direct Tax

The Role: As the Associate Manager of Taxation, you'll play a pivotal role in building and leading a high-performing team of Tax Advisors. You'll provide expert guidance, foster a collaborative environment, and drive continuous improvement. You'll also have the exciting opportunity to work directly with our founding team, shaping best practices and processes. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development: Build and manage a team of Tax Advisors, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Mentor and guide team members, helping them achieve their professional goals. Oversee the hiring process and build a strong, cohesive team. Process Optimisation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all tax laws, regulations, and deadlines. Stay up-to-date on evolving tax legislation, analysing its impact and advising team. Client Advisory: Provide personalised tax consultations to individual clients, covering tax planning, compliance strategies, and return filing. Who We're Looking For: Certified CA, CMA, LLB, or a strong background in Direct Taxes (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance. Deep understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to quality work. Prior experience in providing tax advisory services a plus.
