The primary focus will be ensuring our colleagues who choose a PC as their primary device, will be empowered in their day-to-day work! This will include implementing new technologies that can improve processes and further assist all business units, while maintaining current desktop and server infrastructure. The Windows Client engineer will build and assist support personal with training, ensuring that systems are reliable and available. This position will interact with the End User Technology team and all levels of the organization to assist in making informed decisions to meet business objectives. They will participate in a diverse global team of individuals. The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to take a solution through the solution development lifecycle including: solution planning, solution design and specification, solution construction, test process definition and planning, solution debugging, solution configuration management, unit and system acceptance testing, knowledge transfer and solution support and documentation. The role requires a technically strong individual who is resourceful, confident under pressure.Key Areas of Responsibility include:Windows Workstation ComputingMac Workstation ComputingBeyond Trust Rights AdministrationIntune / SCCM Infrastructure Administration and Operations:Install & administer SCCM Primary & Secondary Server software, including Management Points, Cloud Management Gateway (CMG)Co-Managed device management.Install & administer SQL used for SCCM.Monitor application performance against accepted parameters.Implement appropriate actions to control, correct, or improve SCCM performance.Perform routine maintenance operations on the application (daily/weekly checks), including: Updates to Express Metrics & ServiceNow database.Ensure integrity of SCCM database.Perform updates to the SCCM application as required (patches, hotfixes, service packs).Intune / SCCM Infrastructure Support and Trouble Management:Respond to, analyze, resolve, and close Problem support tasks resulting from customer contact with the help desk and application monitoring. (Level 1 support)Respond to, analyze, resolve, and close Work Request support tasks resulting from customer requests to the help desk. (Level 1 Support)Execute disaster recovery procedures for SCCM Primary, Secondary Servers, including Distribution Points & SQL Server.Identify appropriate corrective action. (CLCA)Provide 2nd/3rd level support for SCCM clients.Intune / SCCM Device/Profile ManagementCreate Configuration ProfilesCreate Compliance PoliciesDevice Life CycleEnroll the mobile devices (iOS, macOS, Windows 10, and Android)Retire and Wipe DevicesDevice Provisioning.Set ESP and other profiles for Windows Autopilot.Company portal BrandingWindows Hello for BusinessIntune / SCCM Software Distribution:Intune Application Creation and Deployment/AssignmentUpload and Configuring LOB applications (Windows, macOS, iOS/iPad OS, and Android)Convert packaged application to Intune compatible file and upload it as Win32 app.Upload and Configuring Store applications (Windows, Apple, and Google)Deploy LOB / Store applications to a group of users (AAD)/computers/mobile devices (Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android)Monitor application deployment status.Group/s Management for deployment/s.Create SCCM packages (for English & non-English clients).Translate user-readable files (e.g., MoreInfo, pop-up windows) **Distribute Intune / SCCM packages to clients in all regions.Administer software metering.Distribute licensed software to individual clients.Add/Remove Packages and modify description of package that is displayed on the SDC / Company Portal.Provide 2nd-level support for software distribution problems.Intune / SCCM Reporting:Provide hardware & software inventory reports (~100 per month).Provide software usage reports (software metering).Administer Web Reporting site (add custom reports)Customize hardware Inventory as per NCR requirements (Update SMS_DEF.MOF and Configuration.MOFPowerBI reportsIntune / SCCM Installation Organizing/Coordination:Coordinate administrative project activities, including scheduling, tracking, reporting, and change management, that impact components of the infrastructure.Complete metrics/utilization reporting on designated operational review cyclesIntune / SCCM Technical Communications and Consulting:Present verbal and written technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.Act as liaison or point of contact with customers, third parties, and internal organizations on technical issues.Intune / SCCM Patching for managed workstations and servers:Manage patches for all workstations & non-ITS servers.Update and perform cleanup in WSUS on a regular basis.Approve and package security updates deemed necessary by security.Test and deploy updates to workstations and servers on an approved roll out schedule.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
