Senior Product Owner

Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner who can think broadly about the entire product and understand the bigger picture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and driving the development of product features that align with our and our customers' strategic goals. They will play a critical role in bridging the gap between complex business requirements and the technical capabilities of the development team, ensuring that our products deliver value to our users and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Responsibilities Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop, document, and communicate a clear vision for the product, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that meet user needs and business goals. Product Roadmap and Backlog Management: Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring that all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized. Outline a clear roadmap for product development, including key features and milestones. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including CXOs, PMs, consultants, and engineering teams, to gather and synthesize product requirements. Organize workshops and engage with users to refine product goals and requirements. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and user feedback to inform product decisions and iterate on features. Develop a system for capturing and organizing data from various sources to guide product development. Documentation and Communication: Create product-related documents such as PRDs, roadmaps, and SOWs. Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and changes to internal teams and stakeholders. Agile Methodology Expertise: Integrate product management processes with agile methodologies, ensuring smooth sprint planning and execution. Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure user stories are well-defined and ready for development. User Experience Focus: Collaborate with UX researchers and designers to incorporate user experience insights into product features. Ensure the product meets the needs of customers, with a focus on intuitive design and functionality. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the product. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and implementing changes to enhance the product. Qualifications Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile tools and practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Experience with data analysis and user research to inform product decisions. Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies is preferred.
