We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Lead to join our team. Tax Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning initiatives within the organization.
The person has to lead the direct tax function while overseeing indirect tax compliances through a team of professionals. Expert knowledge on handling direct tax matters for India is a must.

Tax Planning : Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Transfer Pricing: Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and guidelines.
Tax Risk Management: Identify and assess tax risks and implement controls to mitigate risks effectively.
Tax Reporting: Prepare and review tax provisions, disclosures, and related financial statements for compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Tax Audits and Disputes: Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, including preparing responses to inquiries and negotiating settlements when necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units, to provide tax advice and support on various business transactions and initiatives.
Tax Research: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, evaluate the impact on the organization, and provide guidance on compliance and planning strategies.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income tax, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
Master's degree i.e. CA
10-12 years of relevant experience.
Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including international taxation and transfer pricing.
Experience with tax compliance software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
Proven leadership and project management abilities.
