The ideal candidate must have a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. The Analytics Team Lead will work closely with leaders across product, sales, and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow. They will use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes. The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units.Read on to understand more about this opportunity.Key Responsibilities & What will you need to succeed in this role:Lead and manage a team of BI analysts and developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their professional growth.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements, and translate them into actionable BI solutions.Design and implement BI data models, reporting structures, and dashboards that enable effective data visualization and analysis.Oversee the development and maintenance of reports, interactive dashboards, and self-service BI solutions. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data within the BI systems by implementing data governance practices and data quality controls. Lead the identification and integration of new data sources to enhance the organization's data insights. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of BI solutions on business performance. Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes that feed into the BI systems. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in BI technologies and best practices, and recommend their adoption as appropriate. Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and identify areas for improvement and skill development. Act as a liaison between the BI team and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, and someone with at least 1-3 years of experience leading a team.Degree in Business Analytics/ Business Administration /Business Communication / Marketing.Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, with a significant portion in a team leadership capacity.Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar, with a track record of designing and developing insightful dashboards and reports.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data architecture. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Experience with ETL processes and data integration.Familiarity with data visualization best practices and user experience design principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve common goals. Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment is a plus.What’s in it for you?
