Responsibilities
- Technical Understanding:
· Possess in-depth knowledge of Industrial Automation, Networks, and Cybersecurity Services including but not limited to Network Assessments and Design, Network deployment and management.
· Understand the customers need and be able to position and quote a desired outcome for a solution.
- Proposal Development:
· Lead the development of detailed and customized proposals Networks, and Cybersecurity Services.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical and commercial requirements and solution details.
- Solution Design:
· Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Consultants, Engineering team to design solutions that meet client specifications.
· Ensure proposed solutions align with industry best practices and standards.
- Cost Estimation:
· Develop accurate cost estimates for proposed solutions, considering materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
· Requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.
- Client Communication:
· Act as a primary point of contact for Sales Organization and Business Unit during the proposal phase.
· Address customers’ queries and provide technical clarifications as needed.
· Effectively communicate and ensuring high degree of information gathering and/or communicated in both spoken and written.
- Risk Analysis:
· Conduct risk assessments for proposed solutions and highlight potential challenges.
· Suggest mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance:
· Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy of all technical content within the proposals.
· Collaborate with the quality assurance team to meet internal standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity and industrial automation.
· Provide feedback for process improvements in the proposal development cycle.
· Lead standardization efforts of proposals, tools and processes for Network and Cybersecurity products, services or solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in network related field.
· Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience as a proposal/project engineer or network cybersecurity engineering focused position in industrial automation industries.
· Strong technical knowledge of Industrial Automation, Networks, and Cybersecurity Services along with PLCs, DCS, drives, and other automation products.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high ability to align and influence critical stakeholders across Asia Pacific/Global.
· Meticulous and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality proposals.
· Strong command of English (written & spoken) and ability to adapt communication style and messaging to different audiences.
· Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior level personnel (internal and external) in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization.
· Demonstrate ability to work and convey a positive attitude in a challenging circumstance with both internal and external customers.
· Exhibits strong teamwork, customer service and organizational skills.
