Key Roles/Responsibilities Negotiate with vendors on price, discount, delivery, and working terms. Identify business opportunities by finding new vendors or product ideas for clients. Manage client/vendor relationships, including disputes and claim issues. Consistently work with existing vendors based on new product offers. Review, analyse, and select a new vendor base. Keep abreast of market trends and guide vendors in innovation as per client needs and the latest trends. Monitor production process to meet quantity, order specifications, and delivery dates. Diagnose production problems and work with vendors to present alternatives to clients. Work with vendors to improve on-time delivery/vendor scorecard. Coordinate with internal departments such as MIS / Shipping, Technical, QA, Finance, and Administration to ensure a smooth workflow for order follow-up. Qualifications BTech. in Textiles and good textile knowledge, such as costing, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, washing, etc. Candidates should also know the quality parameters of the industry and various testing processes. Should have sound experience in a wide range of  textile products, including 100% Cotton Fabrics, Denim Fabrics . Should ensure all processing goes smoothly, from yarn purchasing to shipment and documentation. Bachelor in Textiles/ NIFT/ NID Graduate . 3-4  years of experience in merchandising of  textile/garments products. Negotiation & interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills (verbal and written), including the use of MS Word and Excel.
