Trade Compliance Manager

Does understanding and streamlining export compliances based on various international trade laws and regulations excite you? Do you effectively manage cross-border trade regulations for large businesses? We are looking for an expert to support brands on a broad range of global export and product compliance matters. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Degree in International trade, Legal, Business law, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in export control and trade compliance operations Experience, expertise and proven track record of overviewing effective international trade compliance operations and strategies for businesses to scale globally Proven experience in working on export compliance of consumer goods from India to the US, UK, EU, GCC, SEA. Strong problem-solving skills and good interpersonal skills. Cross-functionally collaborate with internal stakeholders & external vendors. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret trade and compliance policies and provide regulatory guidance relative to export compliance procedures and documentation, licensing, and administration. Utilise thorough understanding of trade compliance laws, regulations, practices and procedures to lead, supervise, approve decisions that impact cross border compliance operations. Responsible for the customs import classification of consumer goods and obtaining export/import authorisations of countries including but not limited to the US, UK, Europe, GCC, and SEA. Responsible for the export classification and Customs import classification of products and obtaining necessary permits. Serves as a focal point and a bridge between Export Management personnel, vendors, the sales team, and the brands. Who are we?
