Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our digital first, Full Service Agency as a Brand Planner/ Account Planner/ Brand Strategist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client objectives, target audience insights, and market trends to develop comprehensive brand strategies and communication plans. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, creative thinking, and client management abilities to effectively drive brand success in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, target audience, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct client meetings to gather insights, discuss campaign objectives, and present strategic recommendations.

Consumer Research and Insight Generation:

  • Conduct thorough market research, including demographic studies, consumer behavior analysis, and trend monitoring.
  • Utilize consumer insights to develop compelling brand positioning strategies and creative briefs.

Brand Strategy Development:

  • Develop comprehensive brand strategies aligned with client objectives, target audience insights, and market trends.
  • Define brand positioning, messaging hierarchy, and tone of voice to ensure consistent brand identity across all communication channels.

Communication Planning:

  • Collaborate with creative teams to translate brand strategies into effective communication plans and campaign concepts.
  • Develop media plans, including selecting appropriate channels, allocating budgets, and setting performance metrics.

Data Analysis and Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for optimizing future campaigns based on data insights.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and effectively managing expectations.
  • Present campaign strategies, creative concepts, and performance reports to clients in a clear and compelling manner.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and account management, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to team members to ensure alignment with brand objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years+ ) in brand planning, account planning, or strategic planning within an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with market research tools, media planning software, and digital analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
